Strength and conditioning in South Arlington

Simple rules, real strength. When the clock rolls over, you do your set. Whatever is left of the minute is your rest. Then you go again.

How minute on the minute works

AMP's strength and conditioning runs on a clock. At the top of every minute you do a set. The time left in that minute is your rest. When the next minute starts, you go again.

The clock keeps it simple. You always know when to work and when to breathe, and finishing your set sooner leaves you a little more rest.

Like every class at AMP, it's coached. Your coach shows each move and scales it to your level, so the same workout fits your first day and your fifth year.

One round, start to finish

Every round of minute on the minute goes the same way. Learn it once and you know it for good.

  1. Watch the move

Your coach shows the move and the version that fits you today.

  2. The minute starts

Do your set at the top of the minute.

  3. Rest what's left

Finish the set and the rest of that minute is yours.

  4. Go again

The next minute starts and you do it again.

  5. Finish strong

Every workout is scaled, so you finish strong, not broken.

Who it's for

New to strength work

You don't need to know the moves. Your coach shows every one and scales it for you.

People who like structure

The clock tells you when to work and when to rest. There's no guessing and no wandering between machines.

Anyone starting over

Coming back after time off? Every move gets scaled to where you are today, not where you used to be.

When it runs

There's no separate strength day. Every class at AMP mixes strength work with HIIT, so strength and conditioning runs on the regular class schedule: Monday to Friday at 5:00 AM, 8:15 AM and 5:00 PM, and Saturday at 9:00 AM. Members just show up, no booking needed.

No. It's part of the $132 monthly membership, along with the meal plan and InBody body scans. Your first class is free.
